Creating a shared folder on Google Drive

Creating and sharing a folder using Google Drive is a very easy task. Just follow the steps given below.

Using Android Device

  1. Open Google Drive on your mobile device.

    Open the Google Drive application from your app drawer. If you are not logged in log in to Google Drive using your Google account.

  2. Tap on the “+” button on the bottom-left side.

    On the bottom right-hand corner there is a “+” button, tap on that, and from the options tap on “Folder”.
    Give a name to the folder, and click on “Create”.

  3. Upload files, images, and/or documents

    Click on the “+” icon again and tap on the “Upload” option and you will be able to select the files and images.
    If you are uploading multiple images, select Gallery from the options on the top. Select the images and upload them.

  4. Sharing the folder

    Once you are done uploading the images, you can share the folder by tapping on the three dots button in the top right-hand corner. From the menu opened click on share and add the email addresses of the recipients.
